Carlos Pinto is a founding partner of P&P Advogados, with over 20 years of experience in legal consulting, national and international (United States, France and Portugal). It participates in several operations in the Angolan and international markets in the sectors of oil and gas, corporate, private investment and others.

His experience includes working at TOTAL E&P Angola (Senior Legal Advisor), Ministry of Finance (Advisor to the Minister, Director of the Legal Office and Director of the Minister’s Office), Executive Director at SONANGOL E.P., and is currently a Non-Executive Director at GALP S.G.P.S.

Academically, he holds a Law Degree from the University of Lisbon, a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and a Faculty of Law from the Agostinho Neto University, and a PhD student in Law (with a thesis in Petroleum Law), postgraduate studies in International Contracts and Commercial Law.

Carlos is also an Assistant Professor in the Law Degree Course at the Faculty of Law of the Agostinho Neto University and author of the work “The Right to Clientele Compensation in the Franchising Contract in Angola”, Coimbra Editora, Coimbra, 2010 and author of several scientific articles and publications.
